Workspace FAQs

Q: What is a Workspace?

Workspaces are where datasets are stored and in general where resources are stored. They are public or private. All iLSYPE users have access to datasets held in the iLSYPE Public Workspace.

Q: Can I delete, alter or in any way damage the datasets in the iLSYPE Public Workspace?

No. Feel free to browse, search, link and generally play with the datasets in the iLSYPE Public area without any risk of wrecking the source data.

Q: How do I get a private Workspace?

A private Workspace is created automatically when you register as an iLSYPE user - you are prompted to register when you either create or download a dataset for the first time.

Q: Can I allow other users access to my private workspace?

Not yet. But in the future you will be able to offer individual iLSYPE users access to either your private Workspace or selected datasets within it.
